I have never been one to stick with an exercise program. Following a breast cancer diagnosis and undergoing a double mastectomy with reconstruction and starting on medication that can be bone weakening; my doctor recommended that I start an exercise regimen that includes weight-bearing and stretching exercises. Jane Diamond came highly recommended as an expert trainer. What made Jane an even better fit for me was that Jane had a lot of experience working with women who had undergone surgery to treat breast cancer. Jane’s deep understanding of human anatomy coupled with her empathy around recovering from surgery makes her an incredible personal trainer for me. When I began with Jane, I could not raise my arms above my head, my left arm tingled and I could not carry anything.My abdominal muscles were so tight that I could not do a sit up. After two years of working with Jane, twice a week, my range of motion is better than it was prior to my surgery, and I am stronger than I have ever been, both physically and mentally!
Jane’s coaching style is a gift. I hired Jane to help me manage my health. I developed diabetes and high blood pressure at 52! I was not managing my disease, allowing my sugar levels to drop dramatically. My health was interfering with my family time and my ability to manage my business, sales and maintain my focus and energy. When I started with Jane, I took 14 pills a day. Within 8 months, that number reduced to 6 pills. I now understand how to manage my disease and not allow it to control my life. I feel great!

I’m at a point in my life where I need an appointment to exercise. Having had shoulder surgery and other body imbalance issues, I found myself avoiding the pain which followed any effort to work out. Jane has a keen understanding of musculature and age appropriate exercises.
